Nezir Europe was founded in Cologne in 2024 and is entered in the register of associations at the Cologne Local Court under number VR 22681.
The aim is to alleviate acute need and create long-term prospects. This includes emergency aid, provision of food, support for disadvantaged families, children and refugees, as well as sustainable aid projects.
Nezir Europe carries out projects in various regions around the world, especially where poverty, hunger, water shortages or humanitarian crises prevail. Previous missions have taken place in Gaza, Bangladesh, Mali, Tanzania and Türkiye, among others. You can find an overview of all projects under Our Projects.
Yes. Nezir Europe is recognised as a non-profit organisation by the tax office. All donations are used exclusively for humanitarian purposes in accordance with the statutes. The association's purposes are set out in the Statutes of Nezir Europe .
Nezir Europe operates independently of political parties or state institutions. The organisation is guided by humanitarian principles. Aid is provided regardless of origin, nationality, or ethnicity.
The work of Nezir Europe is funded by donations and membership fees. Nezir Europe does not receive any government funding.
Donations can be made easily and securely via the website. The available payment methods are displayed transparently.

Yes. Regular donations help with long-term planning of aid projects and ensure continuous support.

Unfortunately, a completely anonymous donation is not possible. For the proper processing of donations, accounting, and compliance with legal requirements, it is necessary to collect certain donor details. This includes, in particular, information that is automatically transmitted during payment processing.
All personal data will, of course, be treated confidentially and used exclusively for internal purposes such as donation management, communication or, if requested, the issuing of a donation receipt. It will not be passed on to unauthorised third parties.
Nezir Europe uses all donations exclusively for humanitarian purposes in accordance with its statutes. For online donations, you can also cover the transaction costs in the donation form. This way, your donation arrives without any deduction of payment fees.

Yes. For tax-relevant donations, you will automatically receive a donation receipt by e-mail – no separate request is necessary.
Donation receipts are usually sent by e-mail at the beginning of the following year.
For the tax office, only the amount donated is relevant, not the specific purpose. That is why the project is not listed on the receipt. Your donation will of course still be used for the purpose you selected.

Yes. Any natural or legal person can become a member. The application for membership is submitted in writing to the board – feel free to get in touch via the Contact form . Members pay a monthly fee, the amount of which is determined by the general meeting. You can find further details in the statutes.
