At the beginning of the year, teams of experts identify the regions with the most urgent water needs—primarily remote, hard-to-reach rural areas in Africa and Asia.
On-site technical inspection and planning
Our teams check the soil conditions directly on site, determine the necessary drilling depth, and ensure that the local population is actually in need of support.
Water quality and laboratory analysis
After completion, each water source is thoroughly tested (including for contaminants such as arsenic). Only drinking water that is completely safe is approved for use.
Opening and documentation
The opening of the water fountain will be documented as far as possible. Pictures and videos will be made available to donors so that they can share in the joy.
